PX & Commissary:

The PX and Commissary are fairly small. The Commissary still has a decent amount for the size, though. I still miss the pre-made sandwiches and salad bar that some commissaries have, though. I can?「どィび「t get over it not being open on Monday, too, and avoid the PX and commissary on home football game days at all costs. None of the PX vendors are open on game days, either. The PX only has a Burger King in the food court. (There is a Subway and Bistro/cafe near the fitness center on the other side of the base, though). It has an eye glass shop, car rental, flower shop, GNC, dry cleaning/alterations, art sales/framing and then the Barber and beauty shops. It is probably the smallest PX I have ever been to. The clothing and sales is inside the actual PX, although you have to purchase anything for clothing and sales at the clothing and sales registers. It does have quite a bit for how tiny it is, though.

Base activities:

This base is quite interesting since so much of it is for the USMA and the cadets. There are tons of sporting events going on here, all the time. Army football games are a religion here, lol. And even if you don?「どィび「t like football, attending a game at Miche (pronounced Mikey) stadium is something everyone should do at least once, as well as watching the Cadet Parades. The base itself is gorgeous. It?「どィび「s set right on a mountain, overlooking the Hudson River. The views are breathtaking, and there are trails to walk and hike. There are a lot of activities and events available on base. Even Balfour Beatty housing has several events each month for its residents. Here are some links of interest:
